Business Users Are Controllers
Businesses using Answr determine:
- what data is collected,
- how it is used,
- how long it is retained.
Answr Acts as a Processor
Answr processes data only on documented instructions from the business user and only to provide the Service.
2) Data We Process
2.1 Account Information
name, email, business details.
2.2 Messaging Platform Data
When you connect platforms such as WhatsApp:
- inbound customer messages,
- outbound messages generated or assisted by the Service,
- message metadata required for delivery.
2.3 Technical Data
Limited operational data such as IP address, logs, and error diagnostics.
3) Platform Data Use Commitments (Meta-Critical)
Answr explicitly commits that:
- Platform data is processed only to provide the Service to the relevant business.
- Platform data is not used for advertising.
- Platform data is not sold, licensed, or shared with third parties except infrastructure providers acting on Answr's behalf.
- Platform data is not used to build user profiles across businesses.
4) AI Processing and Training Clarification
Answr may use automated systems to generate responses.
Important clarifications:
- Platform data is not used to train general-purpose AI models.
- Any system improvement relies on anonymized, aggregated, or synthetic data, or on non-platform operational data.
- Platform conversations are processed in a customer-isolated manner.
5) Data Retention
By default:
- messaging data is retained only while an account is active,
- data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after account termination unless legal obligations require otherwise.
Businesses may request earlier deletion.

End-Customer Requests
Businesses are responsible for responding to their customers' data requests. Answr assists where legally required.
7) Data Sharing
Data is shared only with:
- infrastructure and hosting providers,
- messaging platforms explicitly connected by the business,
- authorities when legally required.
Answr does not sell personal data.
8) Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.
No system is completely secure.
9) Compliance Status
Answr does not claim certification or compliance with specific regulatory frameworks unless explicitly stated in writing.
Use of the Service does not make businesses compliant with applicable laws.
10) WhatsApp and Meta Platforms
Meta and WhatsApp act as independent data controllers for platform-level data.
Answr is not responsible for platform enforcement actions, including number bans.
11) Children's Data
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18.
12) Changes
